“Supplements And Herbs For Acne” It's very interesting that most acne sufferers take some kind of supplement to help cure their acne. Unfortunately there are over 1000 different supplements on the market and 99.9% of these do not make any difference to your acne! Artificial ingredient based supplements found in supermarkets, drug stores and chemists are useless for several reasons. They often contain junk ingredients that harm rather than heal. This has been well documented about, and a call for more responsible manufacturing of mainstream supplements has been made many times. Another reason why these supplements often fail to provide any benefit is that they contain one nutrient alone, with no other nutrients to support absorption. This is an important point, as the body cannot effectively assimilate the nutrient when it has been chemically isolated. I'm sure this makes logical sense to you, and in practice you'll see the same thing. Shoving down lots of poor quality supplements is not a good strategy to clearing your acne, but that's not to say that ALL supplements are useless, quite on contrary. Certain supplements are often recommended, like Vitamin B6. Often they are sold for high prices as an acne-specific product, and the results can vary. This is because you're asking just one supplement to solve the whole acne problem, when a more holistic approach is necessary. These days, a very popular approach is using antioxidants, and whilst I think there are a couple of antioxidants that can be useful in treating acne, the dozens of other antioxidants are generally ineffective. This is coming from someone who took hundreds of supplements in the quest to clear skin. Another aspect of supplements is how to take them. Some supplements are only effective when taken with food, or even specific foods, whilst others need to be taken on an empty stomach to be effective. Herbs for acne are extremely popular. They can come as a stand- alone herbs, such as olive leaf extract, or be in a formula that combines many herbs. Yet, having tried dozens of herbs and formula's over the years and studied them in depth, it's clear that the application of herbs have a limited use. They are meant to be used in the short term, as a kind of booster for the body, to help it get back into balance so that it can heal itself. This means that herbs can seems magical and produce fast clear ups, but then after a week or so, they stop working and acne comes back. This is a common occurrence, and happened to me a few times. Overall, the need for quality supplements and taking them correctly will make a huge difference in whether you clear your acne...or not. And this is all precisely described in my program.
